to each Grade Level K -12. Simply click on your child's grade and choose a subject to work on. These skills are based on the State Standards. The Website is free for up to 5 min. a day, after that there is a membership you can pay if you choose. My recommendation is to work on one skill a day for the free duration.
If your family has a library card from any Great River Regional Library the program the Pronunciator is totally free to use. Simply ask about it when you go for your next visit and they will give you a free password and login in. The link to the program can be found here. This program supports over 60 languages. The link is to this program is www.duolingo.com. It is a free website that allows you to work on all elements of language. Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. I encourage your family to use this free website on your computer or i-pad. It is so important to continue to strengthen your child's home language. Our goal is for him or her to remain bilingual. Another wonderful resource is Star Fall. This is available for both the i-pad or on-line. The website www.starfall.com has a variety of resources to work on language, literacy, and math skills. The i-pad version is free to download but is more limited than the on-line site. This website contains resources best used for grades K-2.
